http://www.asb.tv/videos/view.php?v=1bf99434&br=500 the vet post below made me want to share this video, some of you may have seen it , but its worth watching, its a wwll vet thet gets re introduced to his mustang after not seeing it for 60 plus years then due to a ultra rare dual controll p-51 he gets to take the controles one last time
 
That is an amazing video. I thank all of those men for their service to this country. All of the military pilots I knew where special men. They where calm and could react so well. They saved my bacon many times.

I badgered a pilot friend of mine to take me up in an F-4. I was scared to death the whole flight. He laughed at me. He talked about how it scared him to think about going into the jungle to fight. So I guess we each got the jobs we where best suited to.
 
Awesome video! That generation of people is truly the greatest in my opinion. My grandfather was a WWII Marine, and my wife's grandfather WWII Army. Both well into their 80's, almost to 90, and the thought of that generation passing is hard to accept. Oh the stories they can tell about life, but neither one will talk about the war very much. All I know about my grandfathers war experience is that he made a deal with God while in a foxhole that if God would spare his life, he would do whatever God asked of him with his life. He has been a minister since his mid 20's, and is still a full time nursing home chaplain in two nursing homes and fills in at local churches on a regular basis when their ministers are away. Doing pretty well for someone near 90!
 
Can't say enough for these guys. Just have to pray for them and thank them for what they went through just so we could have the lives we have today.
It seems like the younger generation don't respect or understand what they did so we can have life as we know it today.
