OLIVER 77

Tried this on the oliver board, no responses yet,

Are Oliver Super 77 transmission and differential parts a direct bolt in replacement for a Oliver 77? I have the 77 parts book but no super 77 parts book to compare with. May have stripped some transmission gears and a Super 77 may come up for parts. Thanks, Bill M.

The whole unit I think would be but the individual gears may not be the same as I know some 77 gears were different ratios

You would have to know the transmission code,then I don't know if they used the same code on the Fleetline as on the Supers. Don't know either if there was anything changed when they went from band brakes on the 77s to disc brakes. The pinions were different after the change.
