raining dead birds!!!

looks like its raining dead birds in beebe arkansas. heard on the news this morning more dropped too. some science guy said they got sucked out of a tree by a storm and got "chilled". bird shot 'll do that!!. the end of the article said that the town was a roost for thousands of red wing blackbirds and the droppings were pretty deep. kinda thinking maybe somebody put some poisoned grain out. here is a link to the story. there was also a large fish kill on the arkansas river about 100 miles away.

yea,..news here said that it was a result of new years eve fireworks,..scared the birds and they ran into things in there panic,...funny you didn't see one crippled bird in any of the shots,..looks like another cover-up to protect the people from the truth....
 
Western Australia has that problem also, put down to LEAD dust [breach of protocols] at Freemantle wharf. Any mines in your area?

I just talked to our Arkansas claims rep. He said it was over a wider area than the news reported and said it was hail. Had lots of hail all over the area. Also killed geese.

We had a bird kill at a gas station I worked in during college. It turned out that several hundred, nearly a thousand? pigeons created a circuit on the power lines. All pigeons showed burn marks and some were charred. Damnedest thing I ever saw.
