Are you sure it isn't an 8006? They built a 6806 but it was a 4 cyl. and the 8006 is a 6. The 6806 used a cast-iron exhaust manifold. The 8006 used the "$900" manifold/muffler. When buying one of these manifold/mufflers, make sure it is for the tractor and not a stationary-unit. The stationary-units used a shorter runner between the head and muffler. You wouldn't be able to shut the hood with one of these. The 8006 is one of the best "all-around" tractors Deutz made. It has a 16-speed trans. w/creeper range as well. It also has 540/1000 PTO.
