2 came in the mail yesterday, the winter just started, and I wish it was over! I didnt start this first but the picture of sweetcorn planting got me going! I know these are reruns, but they will have to do till it is time to plant onoin sets! I cant wait!

Wish we could have that weather now, instead of freezing rain, snow, and falling temps. Nice tractors - front mount 8N and 3000?
 
I don't pay a great deal of attention where people live except for the state.

Should be a good conference as it is the 15th anniversary of it. I had plans to attend last year and the weather soured and so I stayed home.

I haven't made plans to attend, but if I did I'd probably pop on up to Des Moines to visit friends.
 
jung, gurney, and schumways catalogs already here!!! 50 degrees and raining here in north cent illinois. was 10 degrees and a foot of snow a couple days ago. maybe i'll plant onion sets today!!! heres the mother in law, the wife and myself in the garden.

this year we are gonna try and plant marigolds in with the potatoes. they are supposed to keep the tater bugs away. be an X-periment!!!

And 17 in normally balmy western Washington this AM. Doesn't matter- the stuff that normally overwinters in the garden got wiped out with the 8 we had a month ago. Where is global warming when we need it? Can't wait for spring!

That chain dragging in photo No. 2 is sure making a mess of the seedbed. . .
