Thanks, Lloyd, for sharing these photos. Wife and I were out there Aug. 09 and really enjoyed the diversity of the park. I especially enjoyed the scenic vistas in the northern end looking across broad areas where wildlife grazed. Got in a small herd of elk in Mammoth Hot Spring as they were crossing road to go graze on some of the lawns in the village.

Hope you were able to get down into the Tetons. We "wore out" the word "WOW" on that trip!!

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!!

Rick...in NC.....and I've been thru NORTH, SC. several times when trucking.

I've been there Lloyd.

Hard to believe places like that exist in our world.

Makes you wonder how many years it took for that river to cut that gorge out of the rock.

Yellowstone is a beautiful place with a long history.

Traper, did you notice that the buffalo there have learned to not get their feet wet in the winter? They seemed to always take the packed trail and bridge to go from one grazing place to another. One wanted to get on my sled.

My wife and I like to go to Mammoth during breeding season and watch the elk. The big bulls will keep their cows rounded up very well and go to fight any other big bulls that come around. While they are fighting the spikes will take care of business. If I may say so the view of the Tetons is better from the Idaho side than from Wyoming. Happy New Year to all11111 Steven
