earth quake today

did anyone feel the earthquake today ? it was around kokomo indiana.

I live 20-25 miles south and west of Kokomo. I didn't feel it but neighbor did. They just revised it ot a 3.8 magnitude. First reports were 4.2.

Yeah we DID, about 7:55. Shook house pretty good and slowly tapered the shakes for a few seconds after. Always makes me wonder if my LP Tank is letting go! I"m in Huntington about 30 maybe more miles NE of Kokomo. Was just trying to find something on a news post and hadn"t found yet. Weird I"m hearing it Here first,ha!

We're about 45 miles SW of the epicenter. Shook some things, opened the shed door that wasn't securely latched. Don't see any damage.

That's a facinating site. I never realized how many earthquakes happen every day.

I guess we only hear about the really big ones.

3.8 earthquake is only a small one. In NZ a 3.8 earthquake would only be classified as an "Aftershock", as real earthquakes tend to be 5.0 plus ,like the 7.1 we had earlier this year.

did not realize it til later on ,here in southern ind , Water pipes rattled oddly while I was firing Furnace ,, about that time ,,kinda thought it was pipes expanding after rapid heat up from dish washer.... did not feel it ifrom floor

Didnt feel a thing in Indianapolis, but i was laying under a machine on concrete trying to drill some broke bolts out. Didnt hear about it till tonight on the 6oclock news here in KY.
