John Deere 2350--54 Snow Blower HELP

New User
Brand new unit--Front Loader came of easy and Snow Blower went on easy.
But, once PTO is engaged @ 1500rpm engine shuts down within seconds.
First though is something not right??? STOP.
Checked PTO hookup--everything looks good.
Float is engaged.
What am I doing wrong or just need more RPM???
10-15" Snow by tomorrow morning.

Any Help appreciated.

Usually we put the blower on the back three point. Which leaves the loader available for moving snow from beside buildings etc.
 
Make sure you have adequate fuel supply to the engine. You may have a restricted fuel filter or tank screen that won"t allow enough fuel flow for the increased load due to the snow blower.
 
Tom is probably right, can you turn blower with your hands or a wrench. Do you have your front pto engaged. Isn't there a lever for rear, front and both. Are you setting in the seat? The whole thing never went bad at once, it is just one simple thing.

IIRC there's no seat or pto safety switch on a 2350 tractor. I think it's fuel related. Bad fuel filter or flow from tank.

You sure you aren't referring to a 2305 instead of a 2350? I missed the "brand new" in your post. A 2305 will have seat and pto safety switches.
So were sitting in the seat when you tried to operate snow blower???????
