We pretty much pick up what we want when we want it without waiting on bdays, etc. But pay attention to the things that we'd like but won't spend the money on ourselves. Wife got me a bigger Navi so I can see it without running off the road and a a hoof cradle/stand so I can do hooves without so much huffing and puffing along with a farrier apron and a new rasp. Got her some perfume, had the seatbelt in her car fixed so it'd stop flashing and beeping, put her on a set of nerfbars, and got her a nice camera bag that'll hold all her junk (photography equipment).

Some clothes, a digital game camera, a book on the history of MN and a gadget! A digital moisture meter to tell when the firewood is dry enough to burn! Most of our wood seems to be 14-17%, thats probably OK, but I have some cedar kindling that wont show any moisture, that's probably why it is so easy to get it burning!

i got a starter drive for the farmall, paint for the ford, new jacket, old western movies from the '50's, [ i hate the junk on tv now, and this will let me see something i like] and a pump action gun that shoots marshmellows, [ for use on the wife's house cat]

All of the six kids in the family were here, including the paratrooper daughter stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC. Eleven grandkids, all the in-laws and outlaws...made for a wonderful day. LIFE IS GOOD! Best gift is to have a family like that...all siblings are friends, along with their spouses. Jumper daughter summed it up in her application to Stanford, when she was asked, "How would you describe your family"? She said that she and her siblings would always be willing to post bail for any of them!.

Got a air staple gun from Mum & Dad a few weeks ago. The best part of that present was spending some time with Dad when we drove up to town to get it. Daughter gave me a pen and wife some Turkey (of the sippin' kind). Most unexepected present was a can of beer from the butcher when I went to collect the turkey (of the eating kind)
