Who Got a Tractor or Equipment For Chistmas ???

Does it count that I treated myself to a 20x8 aluminum cattle trailer? Now if I can just untreat myself of my steel one.

Well....sort of. I found a nice series II AC D15 earlier this fall, and bought it. It's in the shop now. Had to split it and do a little clutch work. Just completed moving the side mounted mower to it from the WD45. The smaller engine, the oval muffler, more speeds, and the reason I bought it- POWER STEERING! will be welcome improvements.

I got a 3/4 inch drive socket set from Harbor Frieght and an Allis Chalmers C gas tank which I dearly needed as my old one is all dented and has Redcoat in it that looks like a wet rag flopping around inside. Gerard

Bought my son a 55 gallon drum of 15-40 Rotella for Christmas. Should give him 8 or 9 months worth of oil changes.

Got a new 16 speed floor model drill press for my shop, which I'll need for some projects I have upcoming. (Came from TSC). Been using a smaller bench mount unit, good little drill press, but underpowered when you get up to a half inch.

I already used the new one to put a one inch hole through some 1/4" plate while fixing one of the runners under the snow plow on my old Chevy 4X4.

I asked for a newer dozer to replace the 1970 Massey. Looked out the window this morning and I still have the Massey. Dissapionted again.

Anymore, I usually buy my own Christmas gift(s).

This year I'm "getting" a hydraulic top link for use with my box blade and slip scoop.

Dean

No new implements or tractors around, but we did get a loan application for our first home and farm in the mail on Christmas eve!

Dean,

After you get your hydraulic top link hooked up, how about posting a report on how it works and if it is worth it. I am thinking of rigging one up.

i got a new lincoln electric grease gun to help grease the tractors and implements. does that count? it replaces the one that "disappeared" the end of november.

Crem, if you have one you'll never go without it again. Might be best to bite the bullet and buy one. I made two of them, one at a time, to use on my Gnuse bucket and the threads pulled off the end of the cylinder both times. Dumped a load of field rocks on a county road when the second one broke. They rolled all over the road. Lucky there was no traffic. Jim

Hey JT, what size Massey dozer do you have? I have a friend that has a 2366. Only one I have ever seen, but a really nice dozer. Merry Christmas to all. Dale

Got a international tractor. A 8100 semi with a 42 ft. grain trailer. Does that count? Merry christmas to all on ytmag!!

Got the 4 yr. old grandson a 1/16 scale 7120 JD. Brand new, right off the lot. But he refused to hook up the true scale drill to it because the tractor is green and the drill is red. Said he needs a red tractor too. I feel the same way out in my shed. I told the wife I need a red tractor too so I can pull my IH drill. She said I have all the tractors I need already. She just don't understand.

Wife let me buy myself a nice M M , UTS, LPG tractor week ago . That was a present to myself . Did not need it , but wanted one for a long time. Got a toy M M UTU with a cultivator mounted on it , really neat model .
One is a birthday present , other is for Christmas. B day is today.
Merry Christmas to you all. clint

They make those about 20 miles north of us.I'm sure you will like it better than the steel trailer.

Bought myself a new 3PH container and while I was dealing, picked up a few shovels and handles.
