There should be LOTS of truck spring companies all over the country that can supply you with a new set at a reasonable cost.

A neighbor just this past summer replaced a set on a Kenworth from that era that he uses on his farm with an aftermarket set from such a supplier. He had NO problem getting them.

Check your Yellow Pages or GOOGLE.

As Bob has said, there are many places to get springs.
One I've dealt with is ITP (Inland Truck Parts) for suspension parts. I've seen some of their catalogs that the salesmen carry and I bet they can get you lined up. Google them if interested.

I'd think if you checked you local yellow pages you'd find a spring shop... and they can supply you with new aftermarket such as Standens that will probably be better than new. Pricing is variable but 200-250 bucks per side generally buys a lot of spring plus u-bolts and bushings. Then add labor if you don't want to mess with it yourself....
Personally... for the misery involved with springs, especially front springs... I'd definitely buy NEW, not used.

Rod

rod is right if you dont have the tools send it out . spring pins one front two rear ,spring pin bushings . not real easy in the yard .spring shops make it look easy .

Are yours just weak? If they are I have changed them by taking the center bolt out and using the main and second leaf. Just using leaves from a donor spring, that way you can make the springs twice as strong if you want to. Your local auto parts store can get new center bolts and U bolts. If you get new U bolts makes job a lot easier, can torch off old ones. yours have been on there a long time.

I learned many years ago to just go to a spring shop when it comes to spring work. around here we have a place called Emich Spring . And they have done all my spring work for over thirty years. They have done my pick ups and my semi's . You can not do the work as fast or as cheap as they can . Took My semi tractor up one day with a broken drive spring and i had then put all four springs on it the total bill was less then 900 bucks and i was in and out in less then and hour . Same as when i took the dump trailer in to have new spring and be rebushed , took the truck and trailer up and they had me pull the whole rig in and never unhooked i got out of the truck and went to the waiting area and got me a Barley pop out of the COKE machine and sat down figuren that i had and hour to kill wrong i was not even half way thru the beer when Bob came out and said your done . Two new springs and rebushed in less then thirty min. less then 450 bucks out the door and back on the road and no busted knuckles or mashed finger. They have the tools and the overhead cranes and the jacks jack stands and porta powers to get the job done fast and wright the first time . They have the springs on hand and every nut bolt and bushing PLUS they had Barley pop on hand .

Ray, Tractor Vet is solidly on Target here. A local Spring and Alignment Shop can do so much for you here! Re-Arch your existing springs, make a new set, or Add-a-Leaf, it is Money and Time well spent.Hope this helps.
