Case 1838 skidloader......uh oh......

I was pushing some snow yesterday with our skidloader, nothing heavy, maybe 6". I dont know what happened, but it quit moving suddenly. I heard a slight breif "whine" out of the hydraulics when it happened. I have no hydraulics what so ever.....no lift arms, no forward/reverse motion. I belive it either snapped the input shaft to the pump, or spun it somehow.....Anyone have experiance with these things?????

Yes I have seen that happened before when people are pushing something and now they don"t have any kind of hydraulics usually this means that that shaft snapped or the drive coupler is broken.

I found a diagram....looked it up on CaseIH site this morning....that is pretty helpful.....

Wound up calling the local case dealer, they said maybe 5-600 labor to do the job.....if it only broke at coupler. So I decided to let them come get it and do it.
