OT ~ Anybody Else Involved With FRB??

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering if anybody else on here was involved with Foods Resource Bank?? We do a couple of pigs, out of every batch we feed, for one of our church's growing projects. We grind them into sausage and sell it after church so they make a little extra money.

Other farmers at our church grow wheat, corn and soybeans for projects.

Anybody else out there??

Anyone who's not familiar with FRB, the church collects money to buy the inputs (seed, livestock, feed, fertilizer). The farmer donates facilities and labor or whatever they can. All the profit from the project goes to FRB projects overseas.

What we like is they don't just use the money to buy the needy people food. They buy them tillage tools and seeds and teach them how to grow their own crops and store them so they have enough to eat.

Here's the website: FRB

This is the sign that usually sits in front of the field or in our case, the hog barn, you may have seen them and not realized what they are.
