Interesting piece re' the history of EPA registering Clothianidin in spite of it's own people's anxieties re' contamination of pollen and nectar...
Reportedly banned in Germany and other Euro countries...
It's on Grist, which I don't follow (was linked in the 12-17 "Links" section of Naked Capitalism--which's an economy site, not the other kind of naked).

Not sure what you're saying but I would like to read the info as my dad is a former beekeeper and familiar with colony collapse.

I use wintergreen patties, and run 2 hives with no treatments, been 3 years on them. Some of the chemicals worry me, I have about 30 die off in colonies, bout the same as rest of beekeepers in area, Mark

Sorry I wasn"t clear...
The piece is on grist.org, an environmental site I don"t usually follow, so I don"t know how reliable it is...you"ll see a box on their main page.

This story has been widely reported. Here's one such article.

There's a fruit-growing region in China that has no bees at all due to heavy pesticide use. The farmers there have to hand-pollinate their fruit trees with tiny brushes in order to produce a crop.
