This is the Town of Fulton Historical Society"s
one room schoolhouse display and mini-museum.
It is located on the grounds of the West Fulton school District #1. The original School collapsed under heavy snow in 1958.
We moved this one in 2007 from the neighboring Vintonton District #13; about 3 miles.
This schoolhouse was not originally equipped with a bell so one of our members constructed a downsized version of the belfry from the original school and mounted it on the roof.
We did a lot of work restoring the building and we think it is a definite centerpiece for our little hamlet of West Fulton.
