We will be leaving for the farm today for the Christmas holidays.

I wish y'all a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year.

I have been after an electronic ignition for my 65 but I don't think she up to the task of figuring this one out.

I rented enclosed and lockable storage for my hay equipment and a couple odds & ends and got me another container to help out with cleanup and chores to keep hay and water jugs out of my car. Local dealer has a ford 3000 that looks awful inviting but I'm afraid to ask the price. Family owned setup but ever time i talk to the son that is responsible for equipment, I suffer a setback on my people skills.
I see that she has a couple mulchers on watch on ebay so I may get lucky. Usually have to by my own tractor stuff.

Don't know for sure, and not exactly TRACTOR related, but if I had to guess what was in that one box that UPS dropped off,I'd say it's a Texas Fence Fixer.

What's a texas fence fixer?????? If it's what I'm thinkin' better get him outta that box before he suffocates

Is this a Texas Fence Fixer?

Might want to check to see if it will work North of the Red River.

That looks like one handy fencing tool.

Even though I'm proud of the old green tractors, the Ford 2810 is the one that we depend on the most.

Its' job is to move hay bales, but there are a lot of other jobs that would not get done without the front-end loader.

Nancy's horses have figured out that when the Ford diesel tractor is started, it's feeding time and the stampede begins.

Yeah,

I really like the look of that outfit.

My horses do the same darned thing. If ya really want to get their attention, start the loader or hook up the trailer. They are all "ears" then. :>)

James, Allen, My cows not only know when I start the loader, they can tell when I plug in the block heater. So it surprised me, that they weren't all eyes and ears, tonite, when I was about to start the loader. Sure enough, I felt around the lower radiator hose, and the @#$%$heater wasn't working! It took about a half hour of fiddling to get it started, had to jump it off of the battery starter/charger. I have to give the old girls credit, they appear to be better mechanics than me!

(quoted from post at 14:16:19 12/16/10) That's on handy looking 3pt container!
I've got 3 of them. Along with that Harbor freight quick hitch they are the best thing since sliced bread. Pull the handle sticking up and they dump.

Dave

James, you are a good salesman.

I sent that link of the Texas Fence fixer to my brother who farms in Iowa and he liked it so much he ordered one.)

Nice Tractor there James -- That Teaxes fence fixer is the cats meow ---- whoever invented that I bet don't have to fix many now !!

Wishing you guys a very "special" Merry Christmas <};>)]
