installing fuel injection stuff on a carb block?

Ok, I guess my idea of installing the olds v6 in a pickup is not good. I have a gas gulping mid 70'e 350 engine. Will the fuel injection assemblies from early 90's 350 engine bolt on to this block?

You will have to go with an aftermarket kit, unless you can find a similar donor vehicle that is injected. The whole wiring harness will have to be changed, the fuel tank dropped and the fuel sender and pump installed, along with all the sensors on the engine, and drivetrain and possibly some hard parts on the engine. Really not worth the effort or expense to save 2 mpg if you are lucky.
Probably be money ahead to just tune the engine you have or buy an injected truck.

I recently put a chevy rochester style throttle body setup on my jeep v8, wasnot too bad of a project. made an adaptor plate for the throttle body and had to buy a newer HEI dizzy and replace the 4 pin ign module with the 7 pin style so the ecm has some kind of crank signal. the wiring harness was easy, just pulled one complete from a junkyard for 10 bucks.

oh, and i used a holly fuel pump and a holly pressure regulator to get the 13-16 psi required for throttle body injection. as for sensors all that needs modifying is the knock sensor, I made a custom freeze plug that was thicker(theoretically transferring vibration better) with threads in it.
