i have a 02 f250 that has the factory tow package im curiouse if the package includes the wiring to charge the electric brake battery on my trailer wanting to mount a couple of lights on the trailer for those pulls that end after dark was hoping to use that little battery seeings how they wont be used much at all but i dont want to hook the battery charger up to it all the time thanks

Yes it does if it has the tow package. check under the hood at the power dist box to make sure the fues is there [it will save you from pulling your hair out later]. If I remember correctly it is the center pin and will have a large wire.

I think it is uses a relay, if you have the owners manual it will show you where it should be

I think that is the reason they went to the new 7 pin connector. Not in any order...
1 right turn
2 left turn
3 backup
4 trailer brakes
5 stop or spare
6 12V power
7 ground

I just hooked mine to the Charge wire from the plug. #4 or the Black wire on the plug is
12 Volt. I used a Off-On switch on the trailer. You might shech some states frown upon having lights on trailer faceing back.
