Have fun guys and keep it clean, I gotta leave for awhile, promised the wife Id go out shopping with her... Not my idea of fun, but I guess one time a year wont hurt. Just the thought is making me cringe ;(... And were not even going to TSC or any tractor dealers,or even the feed mill. LOL. Anyone else who cant stand shopping?

When I go shopping it's usually for one particular item. When I've found that, I'm done.
I can go to a particular store for one item and be back in 20 minutes. If my wife goes to the same store, it's a three hour social event. Plus, my wife can disappear in a store faster than anyone else I've ever seen. If I turn my back on my wife in a store for 3 seconds, it takes me 20 minutes to find her again.

I buy my own clothes and my wife almost always approves. If my wife and I go shopping for clothes for me, I can guarantee we won't be speaking within 10 minutes.

TSC, F&F, auto parts, and the like--
that's about all I can stand

My wife flies solo for everything else,
except for those rare occasions.

Feel sorry for ya', but this too shall pass...

Convinced my wife a couple of years ago to try on-line shopping, and she is now a believer. This will be the second year in a row now that neither of us have gone to the mall. :D :D :D :D :D

I have been truly blessed. I hate shopping, as most guys do, but SO DOES MY WIFE! Glory, Hallelujah!

She'll drag herself out to do it, all in one day, for Christmas- other than that, she usually uses a DS (designated shopper)- used to be #2 son's mother-in-law, but she moved to Texas, so now its #2 son's wife (the acorn didn't fall far from the tree). They both love shopping just for the sake of shopping, and the only downside is they don't have a lot of money to spend. So when they can shop, and spend someone elses money, they're in hog heaven. Very good at finding the best deals. We baby sit for them while they go, so everyone's a winner.

It's one day a year. Suck it up, smile , carry the packages, answer all the questions of"how do I look in this??'" the best you can and it will pay big dividends in the future.

I would go to a mall only at gun point.

Guess I don't fit the typical female stereotype. My favorite store is TSC or a good saddle/tack store.

Ya have to be careful of those manikins

In younger years My x and I ,and a friend with his wife was in the big mall in Pittsburgh.

This one sixy lookin almost too real of a dummy I had just said something not very appropriate to my friend and I looked closer. and even the eyes looked wet. I got up a littler closer and chills went through me as she winked , never changing her expression.

Come to find they were experimenting for security purposes for shop lifters.

Stop by the local coffee shop or bar and ask the divorced barflies how many times they went shopping with their wives.........

My wife isn't much of a shopper, online shopping is too easy here. we have an IKEA about 20 miles away though that we hit every month or so for breakfast and walkthrough that ends up looking at smelly things like candles the smell of new textile (maybe it's the mothballs) that gives my sinus' he!!. I stand up to it like a champ though. Payback is her finding oldtimer tractor get togethers and beerfests through the summer and driving me there (at least driving me home after a few bratwurst and prezels and the beer to wash them down).

Go shopping now cause the time'll come that you'll wish you could.

Im back, wasent to bad LL,Bean, macys, sears and stuff like that. Lucky it wasent over busy, thats what I dont like, the elbow to elbow people. Also got lunch out of it. Gotta run and do chores now, 19 degrees out, Hummm,,,, come to think of it those stores were nice and warm!!! :) j

Nancy won"t take me shopping with her any more at Sears, Dillards, JCP, Mervin"s, Target, etc.

When I get bored and ready to leave, I make a trip over to the Ladies Foundation Garments.

Find the largest pair of cotton drawers ever made and put them on my head.

Spend a lot of time now just waiting outside the store sitting in the truck.
