Up to 5 mile in most directions east into Illinois is the arm pit of Illinois. DO NOT leave the interstate in that radius. Was in that area in the early 2000 and the state truck garage has armed guards and women on the streets are for sale had stole the street signs. Not a nice area. Rest of area out side of this is what you can expect of Illinois. Now west of this pic is rated the number one most dangerous city in USA.

Looks familiar. Ive been up in the arch a couple times as well as the riverboat in the picture. That side of the river is a good place to stay out of!

It's the Casino Queen (Riverboat Gambling). That Gray building is an old Continental ? Grain Elevator. And he is right , East St. Louis is no place to be at night. When someone dumps a body , that is usually where they are found. Lots of bars over there where the women have no tops or bottoms sometimes. My Mama told me don't go over there.
