My daughter says she was in Wayne County, West Virginia last summer, at the Wayne county work program, and she was in the town of Mingo. Does that sound familar to you? Larry
 
Mingo county about 1.5 hours from me, but I work all over southern half of state, give me enough notice and we eat :)
 
Larry I live in Wayne CO WV. And Mingo is the County just south of Wayne. Mark is on the other side of the state. I live 3 miles from KY and 4 miles from OH. Just 3 miles south of Huntington.
 
Not trying to horn in on the conversation but I also live in WV,Monroe county to be exact.No 4 lane roads,no stoplights,no trains,no coal mines,mostly farming country,not many jobs either ,but a great place to live.

My Mother-in-law is from Mingo Co. Her family moved to southern Ohio when she was in high school. The family name is Chapman.
 
welding man, go there 10 times or so a year, mostly stopping in Union and then at James Monroe High shcool, maybe see you sometime Mark
 
have friends in my area (SE WV) Chapmans, ran a home egg delivery then sold just to stores, then couldnt compete with big guys :( now the sons build houses and make more money but I think they miss the farmin
