Willys pics

This is the Willys I bought yesterday. It's a project, but, it's rock solid & the frame is perfect. Motor is the 6cyl/hurricaine...even the seat is nice in it....I looked a long time to find one not all rotted out.

Looks good. It will be a good project for you. I had a 59 Willys Jeep pick-up with a 327 Chevy engine in it. It ran real well and had the original Tranny and differential in it. Had some big tires on it and it would go through anything.

You must be out of Maine did it come from Old town area? anything up there is rusted and beat up you did well. Still wuite a few of these around.

Looks like a '53 to me, they say the 6 was pretty good. We had one with the F head 4 in it. Blew 7 head gaskets and gave up and put a Ford v8 in it.

There was a wagon at an auction here a while back, I think it sold for $150.
