Just to let you guys know.
There is a website called www.hulu.com
This website has many of the old TV shows.

All you do is go to the website and type in the show you are looking for on the search line and the episodes are listed and you click and watch.

Today I watched 4 episodes of Hawaii Five-0, 2 episodes of The Rifleman, and 1 episode of the original Star Trek with Kirk, Bones, Spock.
Aint new technology great.
I just thought some of you guys would like the old shows at much as I do. I dont watch the regular new TV.

I dont care for new tv either. Jack$ss is ok, and Bam Magare, but Chuck Conners in Rifleman is good too. I also like the Dukes Of Hazzard,Magnam PI,and the A team. Ironside is a good show along with adam 12 and dragnet. Ya old tv is great..

I guess I did, thats a good show also, I dont know if its just me, but the old shows seem better than todays tv shows??? Maybe its because its what we grew up with.J

These are some sites that have video, albeit some with free and premium. If you like old movies from the 30 and 40s there is a lot of content to select from.

Cable has some of the old tv shows. Last evening I ran across Mayberry--Andy Griffith and Barney. It was a hilarious episoded where there was a haunted house, first Barney and Gomer went in to retrieve a baseball, they got scared out, then Andy went in to help explore, Gomer disappeared- they all got scared out. No one will ever be able to act as scared as Barney (Don Knotts- what an actor!) There were a couple of homeless style moonshiners in the basement that were doing most the scaring. That would be a good one to have and replay every halloween.

Green,
I've been afraid of getting spams or a virus by signing up for on line TV. How do you avoid this problem?

Depending where you live, you may be able to watch these if you still watch tv with an antenna:

Retro TV: http://www.myretrotv.com
Antenna TV: http://antennatv.tv/shows/antenna
ME-TV: http://www.metvnetwork.com

Antenna TV and ME-TV are going to be up and running on digital subchannels shortly. Nobody carries RTV in our area. All are still looking to add stations across the country.

A great website on free tv, including station coverage maps and channel affiliations: http://www.rabbitears.info

I hope the links work.

You can watch some movies too!! Just FYI, you can't get HULU outside of the U.S. because of copyright laws.

There's a bunch of'em on Direct TV in the afternoon. Channel 367 has Green Acres,Daniel Boone,The Rifleman,Bat Masterson and Bonanza. Channel 64 (here anyway, might be in my locals) has Jack Benny,Red Skelton,Roy Rogers,Andy Griffith,Dragnet,Groucho Marks,Ozzie and Harriet,Storys of the Century,Green Archer and more.

Are you talking about Jacka$$ as in MTV or whatever that other music video station is...Jacka$$?

If you are, I stumbled on that show once and it was pretty funny. It was an episode where this guy was driving a hearse through I think San Francisco, and he parked on a corner facing up a steep hill across from an outside cafe' with people eating lunch at tables on the sidewalk. He had a dummy in the casket, gets out and opens the back of the hearse and the casket comes flying out and smashes onto the pavement and the dummy comes flying out of the casket too. The people at the cafe' were horrified at what they think is a real body getting slammed around as the guy tries o stuff it back into the casket. People like fainting and passing out, even one or two that quit eating and went over to try and help the hearse driver get it all back together and in the hearse. That was hillarious, but the only time I ever saw it.

You got it, thats the show. One time he leaves a fake baby in a carrier on the roof of his truck and drives off, people or running after him to try to get him to stop. Its a funny show.
