hello everyone ,hope you all had plenty of turky.i know i did. question ,were there many cotton picker mounted on 560s,thats what the the vin # tells me.

I don't think so. By the time the 560 came into full production at Rock Island Ill. IHC was full swing into self propelled two row Cotton Picker production at their Memphis Tenn Plant.

Page 88 150 years of ih says in 1961 ih made models 314 & 320 FOR MOUNTING ON FARMALL 560.
They go on to say the advantage was after the crop was picked the unit was removed for other use of the tractor. Also a high drum 320 was also mounted on the farmall 560. Many units wers sold so yes you could have a picker 560.

Yes and if you could search IHC's year end report for 1959-1962 you will find that most of them were returned from dealers stock for lack of interest on the buyers part.
