Nothin stinks up a house...

...Quite as pretty as fresh Punkin pie!

My morning domestic chore.

Nothing better than the real thing, whipped cream. Ever ordered hot chocolate and it came with cool whip on it instead of real whipped cream? It's a big lump of white crap that won't dissolve so all you can do is scoop it out. Then you can try to enjoy your half empty cup of hot chocolate. I'd rather have plain pumpkin pie than have cool whip on it as well. Dave

Cool Whip is a petroleum product? Show me where?

Cool Whip Original is made of water, hydrogenated vegetable oil, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, skim milk, light cream, and less than 2% sodium caseinate (a milk derivative), natural and artificial flavor, xanthan and guar gums, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, and beta carotene (as a coloring).[5] In some markets, such as Canada and the United States, Cool Whip is available in an aerosol can using nitrous oxide as a propellant. Cool Whip was formerly marketed as non-dairy, but in Jewish dietary traditions, Cool Whip was classified as dairy rather than parve (non-meat and non-dairy) because of the sodium caseinate (which is derived from milk). Cool Whip now contains milk and cream.

Oh.. maybe you mean the container.

I was being a bit sarcastic. I dunno why someone would choose a synthetic, processed version of something that mother nature did such a nice job with in the first place.

I have nothing against petroleum products. They power all my tractors.

Thanks for the link. I had heard of the purple sweet potatoes but had wondered what happened when cooked. I've been told that the blue potatoes turn an unappetizing gray when boiled.
