Dairy-Kool Milk tank made in Wisc.-fittings?

I've got an 800 gallon SS dairy-kool tank that I bought with a bad reefer coil in it. I didn't get the drain plug / fitting with it so there is the nice empty hole in the bottom.

Its a sanitary fitting on the tank I'm told but there are at least 3 styles used on different brands. Anyone know what I need? Its been 15 years since I've milked cattle and all my friends are out of it too. No other tanks to compare to.
 
It's been 35 years since I hauled milk,but I've seen about every brand. It the stick right there in front too? Some of those had a small SS cover right at the front and the stick and a rod with a plunger with an o-ring on it were both right there. You pulled up on a handle on that plug then turned it 90 degrees to lock it in place above the hole. Could be WAY off on that and it might have been another make of tank,but I thought it was a Dairy-Kool that had that setup.
 
If you spell it right (Dari-Kool), and google it, you get 262,000 hits.

Gotta believe your answer is in there somewhere.
 
do you want to be able to drain the tank under controll or just keep it from leaking? If you want to keep it from leaking just get an plug and the nut and close the hole if you want to empty the tank then you will need the proper valve. Just take a picture of what you have on your tank and go to a dealer and buy what you need. You could also post a picture here and someone may have what you need.
 
I'm not familiar with those tanks as everything around here is Mueller... but I believe that Sussex Farm Supply is the dealer for that stuff. Mabey give them a call with the model information and a description of how it's set up? I've never dealt with them but others tell me they're very good to help.

Hmm, a plunger might make sense. I found a local travelling milk equipment sales guy and am going to take the tank there.
