Spare tire holder

It's finished except for paint. That is the spot where I want to mount it. It hangs on the beam with a piece of angle iron. The 4" piece of flat stock goes to the bottom of the channel and I want to bolt it to the channel. I could weld it on but I want to bolt it so I can take it off if I need to.Thanks for the replys.

You won't need very big bolts to hold that on, as it will be held on by its own weight, for the most part. You mentioned 3/4" bolts, but that's way too big IMHO. A couple of 5/16" (or 3/8, at most) would do just fine, and would have no effect on strength of the trailer frame.
