Have any of you ever used that MyLife.com website that they advertise on television?
Just for the heck of it,I went on there and typed my name in. It said 4 people were searching for me. 2 women and 1 man. ????? Said that the guy was in Virginia and I'm in Michigan. When I clicked where it said something like "see who's searching for you",they wanted $7.95 to tell me. I quit right there. It all sounds like a big scam to me,but I can't believe they'd be so stupid as to advertise on TV if they weren't on the level. If I paid the $7.95 I'd probably find out all 4 of'em,both women and the guy,were bill collectors or looking for somebody else with the same name.
 
Now you will be on their list, and they will send you spam, every week, been there done that, by mistake. Stay away from My Life.
 
Like Earl said, now you're on the list, and you'll regularly get messages like "We may have new information on the people looking for you!" I responded to them about 2 years ago, because they said Regina Leborg was looking for me. I went to a small school, and had no idea who Regina Leborg was, so I inquired. Didn't pay the $4.95 to find out, but they're still bugging me about it. I just keep deleting.
 
most of those kind of sites use that method to lure you into responding, if you do you will find that the "people looking for you" really dont know you at all and are not really looking for you, they are photos and profiles selected at random, the pinch is when you pay money for a membership hoping to either connect with old friends or classmates
 
I use a free Phone service called Skype for non business BS type of chat If you are trying to find someone as with my name alone I come up with over 1000 people with same name world wide.
Maybe some Army buddy looking for you or like others said its a scam.

By the Way Skype.com is a good clear phone service not to be used as permanent system,But I have talked to Japan all for free.
 
Kind of like Classmates.com, huh? I get their emails all the time....they want me to join and pay them money....ain't gonna happen...
