After reading about the Ford offset tractors a few months back I began wondering what it would take to make one.
IF a person used a two wheel drive model, i.e. sans front wheel assist it doesn"t look like it would be that difficult, albeit expensive.
To me it appears that a cast rear axle housing would be the biggest expense and then the cost of having a longer axle machined would be the next.
Make a wider platform and relocate the fender.
Change right brake connection hookup.
Steering wheel might be able to be left in original location or it could be relocated without too much difficulty on some models.
I do know that there is one company that converts a certain model Kubota. I"m not currently at home so don"t have access to a bookmarked page telling of it.
Seems like there is a market for offsets or for the needed parts to produce one.
