1961 Ford 4000

Does anyone know of a 1961 Ford 4000? I just purchased a fully restored one, but as far as the info on the internet is concerned these tractors were only manufactured in 1962.

1962-1965 and then the new style was 1965-1975
Not sure about a 1961

They made a light industrial 4000 from 1960 on. The Ag 4000 started in Aug 1962.

Tell us the serial #.

Where do I find the serial #? The number on the side of the engine is C3NN-7006-B.

Sorry, thats the number on the transmission. The engine is C0NN6015J

You can find the model and serial # my looking here..

If it was built pre Aug 1962 the model # will be 40xxx and the serial # will have 6 numbers.
If it was built after Aug 1962 the model # will be 41xxx and the serial # will have 4 or 5 numbers.

If you post these #'s I can tell you what model you have and what month it was built.
