Hello,

Remembering their sacrifice!

Yes, may we never, never, never forget all those that have fallen in battle for this country.

This morning I walked over to our Health Center. The director is a ret'd Navy Lt. C. from their health corps. Ken just happened to be at the front counter.

I told Ken, "let's see if I can do this correctly" and stood up very straight and saluted him.

Yeah, I got it right. His whole face lit up and he just beamed. We have become friends over the years and we had a very nice chat about our veterans.

Glad I did that. It made both our days.

Hello Nancy,
That is what i was talking about.
Actions speak louder then words, you made my day as well!
Thanks.........................Guido.

Many of my family members and friends are veterans, also many current in service. As Nancy said, may we never forget. My hat is off and I have deep respect for all veterans and current service people. Thank You and may God bless

Little airheaded (we thought) girl that gives us our coffee at McDonalds came over this morning, and asked, "Are you guys veterans?" Most of us are, and she thanked us for our service. There's hope for her yet.

Beautiful Guido!

Sure am glad someone has the time and ambition to do that. I saw Arlington for the first time with my Dad and about 84 other WW-II VETERANS this fall. Humbling - but awesome.

I used to participate in Memorials at the the Cemeteries in France and got to see just about all that contain Americans and a couple of the Allies. Even though the Parks and grounds folks keep them immaculate, the French folks put out flowers, wash stones in between regular maintenance, etc.
