If I saw the TV ad right, Golden Corral is from 5-9 pm. Don't know if Applebee's has any particular hours.

Here are some Army pictures taken in 1953 at Ft Bragg. My buddy in the Jeep has one of those old Army Dodge ambulance's. He also had an old Army Weasel and an old Army truck with Hydramatic transmission. The air drop may have been taken at Ft Benning. Hal

Yeah, I suggested Applebees on Thursday to a friend that I have lunch with once a week- he laughed and said they need to change the name of the promotion to "Unemployed Vets" day- they're the only ones who have time to wait 3 hours for a free lunch. But I suppose there are worse ways to spend an afternoon- telling war stories with fellow vets waiting in line.
