Disking Cornstalks

Beautiful day today!! This afternoon, I worked the 70 disking cornstalks with a 13 1/2' Case disk, 3rd gear. Haven't got to put it on much of a load since it was overhauled, so I made her sweat a little. Some of the sand knobs and wet spots made her lug. Got about 20 acres done, 10 to go. Chris

Tried to post 2 pictures, but it would only take 1 for some reason. Here is another. Chris

Better not let your Oliver friends see this one!

But have been thinking about hooking a JD disk to the Super 88 - if the weather holds.

well, it wasnt my tractor and i dint wanna run the snot out of it. this rascal has kind of a reverse t/a, power booster. when you stomp on it it increases travel speed. wasnt very useful today. this was a no till field for the last 5 years, the ground is like concrete after this goofy summer. headlands were really tough going!!
