info on Massey 97

I am aquiring a Massey 97, Model D504-6 S/N 23704165. Never found this S/N on the web list. Anyone got info or a site to go to? Also it runs and will be for sale.

Its actually a Minneapolis Moline in MF sheetmetal. The SN you posted is probably the engine number, right? It's a 504 CI engine. Find the tractor serial, and check serial numbers for Molines. I'm thinking a 97 was a G-VI (G6) Moline, but I've been wrong before. Not sure where the tractor serial is.

the 97 is the same tractor as the minnie 706
the massey 95 is the same as the G-VI

It's actually based on a G705 or 6, if it is front wheel assist it is basically a 706, 2wd was a G705. The only difference between the two tractors is the front wheel assist. MF did not distingush betwee 2wd or FWA in the 97 serial numbers.
