IH 656 hydro problem

I was wondering if anybody knew where and if there is a "Pick-Up" tube for the hydralic transmission in a 656d?
Thanks, Frank

The pickup tube inlet is located near the bottom of the rear frame between the rear axles. It goes to the front of the rear frame where there is a sealing ring and then is cast into the center section to the filter cavity.

Hi,

The "transmission" portion of the pickup connects to the main oil manifold behind (inboard) of the hydraulic pumps.

It then runs across the bottom of the tractor over to the other side and up (just forward of the access cover) to the intake side of the charge pump.

If any air gets in this manifold, it absolutely kills all hydraulics on the tractor. No hitch, no steering, no remotes, no move, no nothin".

Don"t ask me how I know. :>(
