I have a Ford 3910, made in England. I want to know the year manufactured and where it was manufactured and is there anything different from the same U.S. manufactured tractors. The model, serial number and unit numbers are:

Ford 3910 Tractor Serial #BC24449*, Model #CA454C, Unit 9J27--, Engine 211328 9J21, Transmission 9J25B,Hyd Pump 9J11B, Hyd Lift 9J27A

Don't know year but it was after 1965 when ALL Ford tractors were built in England, none built in USA after 1964. Do not know if too new to be in serial number list on left side of page or not.

For many years, tractors in that "size range" were all mfg. in England....there were "American" versions as well as European versions. Most likely your tractor is an "American" version. My 4610 is an "American" tractor that was mfg. in England...at least that is what the sticker underneath the hood states.

All the assemblies you list start with the number 9 so the year is 1989. The next digit is J so that, I believe, would be September. The next two digits indicate the day of the month that each completed assembly came off the line. So it looks to me like the completed tractor ("unit") came off the line: 9=1989 J=September 27=27th B=day shift.
