That's the kind of country that my dad used to call "40 mile an hour" range- cow has to graze at 40 miles an hour just to keep from starving to death.

Nice pic. We're eating a buffalo right now- a 2 year old that treed the owner's wife, so it had to go. Best meat ever, I think- we're already on the list to get the next one.

Saw buffalo on the Osage in Oklahoma. Very cool. My idea of heaven--or at least one--would be to see the land as it was with millions of buffalo and native grasses before we ever crossed the Mississippi to fullfill our "manifest destiny." It must have been a sight!
