Coop E4 serial #

Where do I find the serial number on a Coop E4 & a list of serial numbers telling the year of the tractor?

Cockshutt 40 and E4 are the same tractor,except decals -paint and nose strip. Serial number is stamped on the top of the right side tub near center. Serial number list can be found on this site on the left of the screen under research and info.

Did Coop use Cockshutt serial #'s?

Yes, they both came down the same assembly line and there is no known list of numbers to tell whether it was a co-op or a cockshutt. When I stripped the red paint off the engine on my 30 it had orange under it.

My Cockshutt 35 had orange paint over the red. The interesting thing about that is that the 35 was never put out in a Coop version. I guess someone along the way just wanted a Coop E-3.5
