quadra fire pellet stove

I have a quadra fire pellet stove , and the exhuast blower is making a squeeling loud noise.Does this noise means that the blower is going bad?

What model quadra fire do you have? Usually you can remove the fan and see if there is a obstruction or sometimes there is a spot to add a drop of oil.
Last resort is remove and replace the motor. Check for replacement at places like Fasco maybe save a few bucks that way.

There is a forum called I burn corn.com . Go to it and on the top it will say corn stove forum. Click on it and scroll down through the different sections. At the bottom will be different brands of corn stoves. Go to Quadrafire and type in your question. Otherwise i know a quad tech that can help you. May need to use e-mail to do that.

Some blowers will have replacable bearings and some others replacable motors. That was why I asked what model quad pellet stove you have. I have a friend that is a quad tech and he could tell me for sure but we need the model number.
