the yard manager at the company where I work drug these troweling machines out of our shed and left them out in the rain next to the building,, I had the one running a few years ago and did a big floor with it ., We didnt need them for a long time and he decided to clean up the place, he is a neat o holic . I asked my boss what was going to become of them, and he said the yard manager said to junk them . I said can I have them? He said sure! So here they are in my truck destine for the farm in pa, One I will get running and one for parts, 2 48 inch and 2 36 inch and some extra blades. I only wish I had asked before they sat out in the rain . The yard manager says they are no good, but he never ran a troweling machine in his life.
I have to thank my foreman for helping after work to load them up. He is my foreman, but one of my best friends , and a very hard worker, I think it is because he grew up on a farm with his grandfather and grandmother,. He helps me load up all this stuff while the yard manager streaks home in his spotless pickup and laughs at me!

Ya Larry, the china engine, called Greyhound might work. I found the mounting bolt pattern on the bottom of the block, are all the same. The same for the 4 bolt holes in the side of the case around the crankshaft, same as Briggs, honda tecumseh ect. J

Hello larry@stinescorner,
Rain just gives them more caracter!
Let me know if you need a hand. Briggs i have some info, tecumseh nothing, but they are not that much different then any other air cooled engine. The only thing now, there are really no short cuts. You may get lucky on 1 or 2.
Good Luck................................Guido.

the 2 48 in machines have wisconsin motors and the 2 36 inch machines have b+s motors
I also got a 8hp b+s motor with a gear reduction on it, it was on a cement mixer that he was junking several years ago the side bearings were bad ion the mixer, but the motor ran great ,so before he junked it I took the motor off and put it in the shed, he threw it out with the troweling machines , so Igot that also.

Hey Larry, I have manuals (instruction book and parts list) for Wisconsin engines, Model ACN, BKN. If ya need copies I'll see if I can get them scanned and put on cd.

your right ., she saw them on the back of the truck and said what is that? But she is good, she never really says too much. , and after 30 years of being married to me she might be used to it by now .

your right., he is a dandy . When he is working with my foreman my foreman gets annoyed because we are jackhammering and picking up chunks of concrete throwing them on the truck and he is sweeping with a broom, same pay as all of us.
