Just a note to say I'm still here been real busy putting in winter wheat and fixing fences and other things that keep a farm going. Getting ready to start the Christmas trees hope we do good again this season.

What do you do with your trees when/if they get too big? Couple folks here in town have a little hobby plot that has a couple hundred trees that people steal. If some are too big they just cut/use the tops and let me cut the rest off and give them to the horses to chew on.
Do you have to mow around them? There is a breed of sheep (shropshire) that people with groves of trees keep because they don't bother the trees and just keep the grass cleaned up.

We cut the lower branches to leave only the part we want when they get to big they are useless so we either cut them down or let them grow for timber.
