Been there 3, or 4 times over the last 15 years. Its a very nice place!

Unless something has changed that I don't know about, the Old Thresher grounds are closed except during the Labor Day weekend.

They have an office there that has somebody around regular. If I wanted to get a tour in the off season I'd sure call and see what I could cook up.

I like the Allis-Chalmers Coreliss industrial
steam engine, with the 30 foot flywheel..and
it runs so quiet that you can hardly hear it.
Certainly a wonder of the industrial age..what
has happened to American Technology..moved on!
