Stopped by a flea market this morning and they had a little Kubota L245DT tractor for sale. It's not quite big enough for my needs, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with one? It was 4wheel drive and had one set of remote hydraulics. Had 2246 hours on the meter and didn't look too bad.

I have an L245, purchased in 1977, used it to finish mow with, recently installed a FEL and backhoe onto it. As an old man, I could not do without it.

I have had one since 1977. It has been a good tractor & has 3000 hours on it. I have had two problems: 1. It is on it's 4th water pump. 2. The small oil passage plugs in the block tend to creep out over time. When they do, the oil comes shooting out pretty fast. After replacing a few, I learned to just tap the other ones firmly in the block and center punch them to flare them out for a tight fit.
