grain cart ?

We had a Barrentine back in the 60s/70s/80s which held about 190 bu; don't remember the model number or if there was one.

My dad had one called a "grainavator" back in the 1950's which we used for Oats when combining and feed the rest of the year.It held about 150 Bu. I would guess.I was glad when he got it As it cut my #12 scoop shovel duty way down.I had 8 sisters before a brother was born but as I left the farm at 18 years of age so I never got any help out of him.I was always shoveling it seemed. Gutters, silage, feed, grain, snow, mud, wagons, trucks, carts. Always shoveling.

I still have the Grain-O-Vator dad bought new in the mid-fifties. It's still in perfect shape. This one is the model 20, has a single axle and holds 80 bushels. The auger won't clear anything over maybe eight feet high, maybe less, but it did save a lot of scooping. Jim
