1835C Case - broken axel

Broke the right rear axel, anyone have a spare lying around they want to get rid of? Also, do you think the old one could be welded where it broke? Any help is appericated.

Depends on where it broke. Broken axles aren't common on skid steers. Dave

I had an old ford that sheared off right at the hub. A shop my brother worked with machined it down, drilled and tapped it with about a 3/4" bolt, then welded it. That was about 4 years ago. Parts aren't even available for a 73 ford.

A little more information, it broke where the axle and hub meet.

Broken axles are common on skid steers if the tires are loaded or hard rubber. I've seen all kinds do it.
