front tractor tire tube

Needed a 11.00-16 tube tonight quick, so went to Fleet Farm, and they had a 10.00L/12.00L-16. Nobody knew what the L: stands for. Anybody here know? Just wondering... Thanks Harold

It's for mounting on the left side..Sure hope you didn't put it on the right. It'll make your tractor steering all screwy as it will always be trying to get to the left side.

As you can prolly guess, I don't know either, just couldn't bare to see your post unanswered.

I would say low profile and with that it should work correctly in your tire as a 11:00 would be about the same height as a 12:00 L tire.

Just had to say it --- What if ya turned it around and run it backwards on the right side ??---LOL

Seriously though maybe different compounds and thicknesses make it "LOW SPEED" for implement use.
therefore making use of the Letter "L"

The "L" is for low-profile.

The tube will work fine in an 11.00x16 tire. They stretch.

Heck, we were in a pinch, and we put a 5.60x15 tube into a 9.50x15 tire. It's held for 2 years now.
