OT: Asian Lady Bugs

Sunday afternoon the Asian Lady Bugs were in the attack mode. I couldn't work outside. I would like to know what they like to eat besides me. This past summer I couldn't keep ants out of the kitchen. Tired sprays and ant bait. Nothing worked. Decided to take maple syrup and mix in some boric acid power. Put it on small squares of paper and 5 days later no more ants for the rest of the summer. I would like to know what Asian Lady bugs like to eat and I'll add some boric acid.

Does anyone have a home brew that will get rid of them? I'm talking about getting rid of them outside, not indoors. After the beans were harvested, they seem to be very upset and want to bite.
 
I use Demon. It's a powder that comes in packets that are good for 2 gal. It can be spryed on walls, siding, wood, concrete and just about anything else. Works for a couple months depending on the weather. Works excellent. The south and west sides of my buildings had a row of dead bugs the full length of the walls. Not expensive either.
 
Those Asian Lady bugs were what kept the aphids from sucking your beans to death last summer. They are only looking for a winter home so they can do a repeat of eating more aphids next summer. They are a nuisance during the winter months though.

Most Dollar Stores have a Product called Roach Pruf, or similar.. Big Bottle of Boric Acid powder for just 2 or 3 dollars.
 
I use a product made by Zep called "Hitman" sprayed around doors and windows, kills them quick and has no smell works for weeks, and is approved for restaurants etc.. Find a Zep dealer and you will be happy with it!!
