3/400 ihc?

local autcion bill has " 14 IHC Farmall C-H&M tractors (in the barn); 2 rare IHC 3-400 series tractors; " i've tryed googling the 3-400 series tractors and can't find any pics.

I think it should read 300-400 series. But I cant imagine there being a rare model in that production run

300 and 400 series Farmalls have few rare tractor types. There are always special purpose components and tractors sold to cotton picker companies, and fork lift/grader manufacturers. Some are interesting, few are rare. I agree with Just Another. Jim

I just looked at that sale bill. He doesn't have pictures of the "rare" tractors, so it may just be the auctioneer building some hype. Looks like a good sale though.

ya, sale is saturday, owner told me he had a bunch of "antique implements". i'dd like to go and see, momma would keel me if i come dragging somthing else home

3400 series were Industrial Tractors. Mostly loader and backhoe equipped but could be ordered to suit the job. Nice machines I always thought. Built real heavy duty. I never saw one that was not painted federal hiway yellow with IHC white wheels.

Only ones I can think of would be the 330U or the 450 golden demo or the high clearnce ones.
