Viking Standard Twin tractors

Viking Standard Twin tractors - I have searched and searched on the Internet but cannot find any info on what the going price for these vintage tractors are. I"m talking about one from the 20"s and one from the mid 30"s. The later 30"s model was completely restored and re-painted and in perfect working order. The other one would run, was in okay to good condition, but needed just a little work done to get it back to really good running condition. We also have the original operator"s manuals. Thank you for any general information on this. pls email me with info. [email protected]

You're probably not finding much because there is NO standard market for them. I have over a dozen of them and the most I ever paid was $300. I'm not saying that somebody somewhere wouldn't pay more - but if it happened, it would be an anomalie. I've got one true Viking Twin, and several later Viking Twins that were actually just rebadged Standard Twins. Also have many Monarchs and Walshes made by the same company. The last Viking Twin I bought came with many accessories, the factory book, bill-of-sale, sulky, etc. and I paid $200 for it.

True Viking Twins - Model B made 1928-1934, Model F 1935-1937, Model G 1935-1937.

Viking Twin actually made by Standard
Model CF 1938-1941

Hybrid model CG -used a mix of a true Viking engine but the rest all Standard Twin - made 1938-1941.

They were a tractor before their time with an all gear drive, a multi-disc clutch that ran in oil and a pto. Even the Viking G had the pto.
Heavier gears were use in the Twins and would pull a 10-inch plow like it wasn't on there I still have the 8-inch plow off the Viking G I bought in 1960 for $15.00. I adapted it to fit on my Wards garden tractor. Here's a pic of the
Convertible Standardtwin with some of its implements. I had 5 or 6 Standardtwins that I restored back in the 1970's. Hal

Bad photo of me trying to plow hard-pan soil in New York around 40 years ago. I still have the Standard Twin in the photo. Proof I rarely get rid of anything. I normally wouldn't post a photo of myself, but since 40 years have passed - statute of limitations is wore off . I paid $25 for the tractor. I put two new Sears "Riverside" antique car tires on it, and chains. Used it for many years. It's a killer in hard soil. If you look close you'll see a Bolens Husky 800 in the background, powered by a Wisconsin S7D. I still have that also.

Here's the most recent Standard Twin I picked up - with big rubber tires and strange blue paint.

Here's what a real Viking Twin looks like - a bit different from the Standard Twin.
