It was too hot to hunt so just sat on the deck, drank my coffee and watched the sun come up----

Most of the walnuts have dropped their leaves.

My favorite getaway spot-I call it High Lonesome

Heavy rains have filled the runoff ponds.

Most of the corn and beans will be picked in my area this week...the weather is perfect for the harvest....my favorite time of year...hope you all have a great Fall Season!!

Nice pics, looks like a nice area.

Weather here has been great in October- It even looks like I'll wind up all my "dirt" projects this weekend, before the rains come and turn them into "mud" projects. Put in a new culvert so pond doesn't flow over the road in big storms, and re-did the plumbing on both ends of the line going to the barn. Did manage to hit a water supply line (PVC, of course) with the spade of a steel fence post- Just hate when that happens!

have you by some chance ever visited the SE part of AZ? We have a county road here that is named and signed High Lonesome.

Richard---I stole the "high lonesome" from an area where I hunt elk.

White River National Forest, Flat Tops wilderness area in Colorado...
